15. The Surprising Gift of Doubt

About this episode

In this episode of Intentional Fundraiser Podcast, I'm talking with Marc A. Pitman about his book titled The Surprising Gift of Doubt: Use Uncertainty to Become the Exceptional Leader You Are Meant to Be. He's also the author of Ask Without Fear! – which has been translated into Dutch, Polish, Spanish, and Mandarin.

Marc is the founder of The Concord Leadership Group, where he helps people lead their teams with more effectiveness and less stress. Whether it's through one-on-one executive coaching, conducting high-engagement trainings, or growing leaders through his ICF-accredited coach certification program.

Marc's expertise and enthusiasm engages audiences around the world both in person and online. He’s been featured in The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Al Jazeera, Fox News, SUCCESS magazine, and Real Simple.

He is husband to his best friend Emily and the father of three amazing kids. And he says that if you pass him on the road, he’ll be singing 80’s tunes loud enough to embarrass his family!

Our guest

Marc A. Pitman, CEO, The Concord Leadership Group

"In the leadership study, we found those organizations that had a clear strategic plan, a well-defined succession plan, and were adequately meeting the professional development needs of their team were the ones that also had the strongest correlation with the culture of philanthropy."

- Marc A. Pitman, CEO, The Concord Leadership Group
